We work across the NHS to successfully deliver complex service improvements through effective project, programme and change management.

Our approach to managing programmes of change employs a variety of skills and methodologies, depending on the nature of the programme and the planned change. Our team of PRINCE2® and MSP® trained practitioners help organisations to navigate and implement change with greater confidence. Whether it’s new technology, a new clinical pathway or workforce structure, our approach enables transitions that are smooth, well-managed, well-communicated, and embedded at every level.  

Across our team we have deep and extensive experience of complex change management, prioritising thoughtful and tailored stakeholder engagement to help make change stick. As a learning organisation we routinely build capacity in this area within our organisation and our clients as part of our delivery activities, to support successful outcomes and to continuously improve in line with our enabling ethos.  

Not only do we deliver specific project and programme management support to our clients, but we also embed these same ways of working into every client project that we deliver, scaled and adapted according to the size and complexity of the project.

Supporting Programme Management

Specialist project and programme management support enables organisations to achieve their strategic goals more effectively. Project success increases when interdependencies are well managed, resources are used efficiently, and risks and issues are proactively addressed. In simple terms, health and care organisations that apply robust project and programme management approaches are more likely to realise their desired outcomes. We have extensive experience with both designing and establishing new programmes as well as reviewing and resetting existing programmes for success.

Our approach to programme and project management is centred around recognised methodologies such as MSP® (Managing Successful Programmes), PRINCE2®, APMG Change Management, and Lean Thinking as well as quality improvement and coaching methodologies.

We adopt the same ethos for every project that we deliver for our clients with our standard approach to managing our projects including:

  • Providing accredited resource with the right skills to effectively set up, manage and assure programmes and projects
  • Following a standardised mobilisation process ensuring that programmes and projects mobilise quickly and effectively
  • Monitoring and quality assurance processes to ensure programmes and projects remain on track for delivery against milestones and meet our clients’ requirements
  • Following a standardised close-out process to confirm that all deliverables have been handed over to the client, and that feedback on the work has been received and acted upon.
